Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello Everyone,

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while.
How was your thanksgiving? What did you do for it?
My parents and I had decided that we weren't going to spend it at home this year, but instead here in the cute little town of Bodega Bay. You know the one where "The Birds" was filmed? Yeah that one. It's a small little place, with not to many people. I can not tell you how relaxing it is to be here away from the big city feel. Thanksgiving was pretty low-ley for us this year. We still had all my favorites, my moms green been casserole, sweet potatoes, gravy, and of course turkey! (To name a few things). These below are a couple pictures I took when we were here earlier in the summer time for the 4th of July.

This seems to be my life right now my friends. Have you ever had a time in your life where you wonder "where on earth am I going in my life??" or perhaps "how are these decisions going to affect my life in the future??" Yeah, I seem to be having these recently. My 15th birthday is coming just about 2 1/2 months away, and life seems to be trying to run me over recently. (Hense the awful blogging schedual).  Attempting to figure out life is almost impossible I am finding.  Any tips you've found to make such things easier?

Hey Loves

So, this is an older picture of me, my hair is now a dark black but this is the closest picture I have on my computer to what it looks like now. I have news though! Yes this is a post about my hair...
It's going to be blue, yes blue! I'll post pictures of it as soon as I'm done. What do you think of this crazy idea? It's going to be quite a dark blue, like a navy blue. I've been wanting this for a while now and I've finally figured out how to do it myself. What do you think about me posting a "how to" on it? I think I just might. Sounds like it would be fun! Well I know this is all kind of a load of jibberish at the moment so I'll go now. Long day and time to earn some money for said hair experiment. Wish me luck!

 

Hey ladies and gents!
I've been up to some crafting lately, and I decided I would share some with you, you know see what you think.

So this little baby I made out of a canning jar lid, a little key I found laying around, some felt covering it all, and some odds and ends buttons I've found.

 

So this little guy is my new art journal. I had a little book laying around and so I turned it into this with some scrapbook paper and a couple of little odds-and-ends. :) Maybe if I ever get it filled up I'll show you guys around it a bit. ;)

Made myself this little head-band one day to go with a little outfit I had. Nothing else matched what can I say??

And this baby!!!! She isn't quite done yet, buuut she is almost there. A little thing I'm involved in is going to have a masquerade dance for halloween and I decided to make my own mask rather than spend tons and tons of money on one I may not love anyways. ;P What do you guys think of this one? I may be making another one instead though but idk.

Summer pictures

Hey! Sorry I never got on again during summer break. Life got crazy and then school started... I'm a freshman this year! Wow I can't believe how fast life has gone by. Do you ever have that feeling? Anywaaaays, I think it's about time I posted the pictures of this summers break finally, what do you think?

 

 

 

So, not all of these are from my time at my grandmas but some of the other places I visited with my family over the summer as well. :) I have others but nobody wants to be swamped with pictures right? haha. Long Break

Hey it's me again. :) Sorry it's been forever. I'm vacationing it with my entire family right now and this is the first time I've been able to get to the computer in some time.

So I'm not going to lie, I've been a little discouraged with the whole blogging thing as of recently since I honestly think I am blogging to myself right now. But hey that's how everyone starts.. right ..? Oh well, on with the blog. :)

So I haven't had a chance to sync up my phone or my new camera yet to show you some lovely pictures I've taken from around here sadly. :( I hope to have them up sometime before the end of this very long trip. I do however have some pictures of last year which I am contemplating on putting up. What do you think?
    Well here in my family it has become sort of a tradition to go antique shopping every reunion. I'm not 100% sure where I stand on this idea yet. At times I have found it to be fun, others not so much. I have my fingers crossed though that this year I will find some lovely vintage things though. Keep hoping for some clothes that might catch my eye though. The only problem I ever find in that though is how very, very short I am. Oh well gotta use the sewing skills somehow right?

Well I can't really think of to much to blog about tonight. I wish I could get some better stuff going on the blog, but I really haven't found any way to upload pictures straight from the internet yet on here. If there is anyone who knows how to do that or how to make a prettier looking sight could you please tell me? Many thanks!

Summer

Hey lovelies! I'm back again. Sorry I am kinda a few and far between with blog posts, I'm still getting used to having a blog and all that comes with it. Hopefully sometime soon I'll have all this stuff figured out haha. :)

Hello again :)

Hello lovlies! I'm back again

Sorry it took me a few days, I'm still trying to find my way around the blog site and all of that good stuff haha.

Well let's see, on Sunday my church had a picnic. SO much fun! My family and all my friends were there and we even had an all church water balloon fight. Oh what a site that was! I got soaked needless to say. And what with it being such a lovely day out, my mom decided to bring my dog McGuffie with us. :) I imagine you will be hearing allot about him considering he is a big part in my little family. So with that being said, here is a picture of him for you.

And  on Saturday as I was out watering our lovely garden, these little beauties caught my eye.

Why Hello. :)

Okay so this is my first ever post.. I guess I'll start with the basics eh?

Well my name is Bella. I guess you could say I am your average teenager really. Nothing too special, but that's just how I am. I am a bit shy.. well alright  a lot shy haha. That being said you can imagine a blog is a bit of a far stretch for me in my "comfort zone" lol.

My friends? They are amazing. I would be no-where without them. Many of them in fact have been incredibly supportive with my idea of blogging. Lets see how it goes..

My family? HUGE! We probably could populate a small town no joke. But I love each and every one of them. :) In fact, I am going to be seeing all of them here in just about a months time!! You see, every year my "Uncle Fun" as we call him puts on this big beautiful fireworks show!! We all get together and BBQ then when it gets nice and dark the fun begins! I'm very excited for this. Along with all that fun, my cousin whom I love dearly is coming out to stay for a week in July then I am going back to her state for a week and flying back to the rest of the family.

My religion? I'm a Christian through and through. I'm not gonna say I'm perfect because trust me, I'm far from it. I love my God and my church and both my youth-groups. 

Hmm what else..? Oh yes, I am in love with all things crafty! I make my own jewelry and hair clips. I am also a painter and a sketcher and a scrapbooker (some of them time with that last one hah) I would say though that my true passion is sketching. I just love seeing the simplest of pencil strokes turning into all sorts of beautiful pictures. It's truly beautiful! My favorite things to sketch? Nature. It's the best subject of them all. Give me a flower or an old bridge or a tree etc. I'm all for it.

Photography. I am a photographer in progress. I dream of one day being a well known photographer, but don't know if it will ever actually come to be. I'm definitely in love with it though. On my handy little iPhone I have two whole pages filled with just camera apps!! Oh and might I mention, as soon as my mom will take me, we are going to get a (some kind of fancy named) battery for her professional camera and I'll be able to use that from now on. :) I can't wait to get started with it and share with you lovelies my pictures. Everyones been telling me I need to start a photoblog so I guess this will sorta be one haha.

Well thats all that I can think of for now.. I'm not sure if this constitutes as a good first blog post.. but I promise you they will get better! :)
